Anthrozoologist and host of the podcast The Deal with Animals

Research interests / activities

I graduated from the University of Exeter's Anthrozoology Masters program in 2016 and since I have been working in Animal Welfare as a board member for local shelter and I recently started an anthrozoology podcast that aims to make anthrozoological subjects accessible to the wider public. I have also been a cpdt-ka dog trainer for 11 years.

Outputs

I have presented my work on sheep friendships at ISAZ 2016, Reframing Anthrozoology as Symbiotic Ethics conference 2021.

The Deal With Animals podcast has produced Anthrozoological series on; Health and Wellness, Conservation, Equity and Social Justice in Animal Advocacy, Wildlife Encounters, and Children and Other Animals. Totaling 46 episodes and counting.
