Ondine is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Voiceless, the animal protection institute, and a life-long animal advocate, passionate about promoting respect and compassion for all creatures. She is the author of Vegan Living (2020, Pantera Press), Star (2020, Pantera Press), Snow (2019, Pantera Press), Sky (2019, Pantera Press) and The Miracle of Love (2013, Allen & Unwin). Ondine is currently a PhD student at Sydney University. She holds an MA in Environmental Education from Macquarie University and a BA in Communications from the UTS, Sydney.  In her research, Ondine will explore the worldviews of Animal People, individuals with an animal-rights philosophy and vegan lifestyle. The research will look into their influences and lived experiences with animals. It is hoped that new understandings of how Animal People have come to their moral frameworks and values could have implications for future animal advocacy and humane education strategies.
