As a veterinary surgeon and a philosopher, I am particularly interested in the moral lives of animals. I am working on the construction of a case for other than human beings to also be considered moral agents, and the implications for human society if it were to be accepted beyond reasonable doubt that animals were like us, in as much as they too are moral agents for whom justice matters.
