Research interests / activities

I have carried out research on the embodied experiences of breastfeeding for vegan women, which explored connections with cows in the dairy industry, and on attitudes towards memorials of road-killed animals by cyclist safety advocates. My work thus explores spaces of intersectional, embodied, and emotional connection with nonhuman animals. I consider myself to be a feminist-vegan and my work is grounded in a commitment to improving the lives of the oppressed.

Outputs

I am early in my career, but I am currently working on a publication for the EASE working paper series and have been involved in the podcast The Deal With Animals. I have also presented my work at the Anthrozoology as International Practice conference and the Bovine Research Network.
