This twice-yearly publication provides a forum for current research in human-animal studies.  The journal publishes cross-disciplinary content with a particular, but not exclusive, interest in Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific scholarship. Scholars from all areas of human-animal studies are welcome to submit an original article to be considered for publication in ASJ. We also accept submissions of creative work and reviews. Abstracts and proposals for forthcoming editions can be submitted via the website or sent to editor Melissa Boyde: boyde[at]uow.edu.au.
