Research interests / activities

I am an undisciplined visual artist, performer, vocalist, and researcher who is developing methods, approaches and practices in 'voice in the expanded field.' This includes my ongoing fieldwork work with a herd of elderly horses, grain trade-routes, and animal-workers across commercial and peasant agrarian contexts. Through a 'socially-endangered' practice I create moving images, sonic gatherings and transmissions, tactile sculptures, vocal texts and performative environments with more-than-humans to playfully disrupt human and bourgeois exceptionalism in art and culture. I call this 'Agripoet(h)ics.'
