Early career researchers make up a large part of AASA’s membership base. Through a bequest made by the late Associate Professor Siobhan O’Sullivan, AASA is able to recognise and celebrate your important scholarship.

AASA members who are within 5 years of receiving their highest degree are eligible to nominate their paper, published between January 1 2025 and October 31 2026, for this prize. A judging panel will review all applications and award a $500 cash prize to the winner. 

You have until 5 pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT) on Friday 6^th November 2026 to apply.
