Longtime AASA member Gonzalo Villanueva has co-founded the Animal Liberation Film Festival (ALFF) – Australia’s first and only independent festival dedicated to films that raise awareness about animals and inspire compassion, reflection, and action. ALFF is Melbourne’s newest event committed to showcasing creative, thought-provoking screen experiences that promote animal rights and vegan action.

Across two days (5-6 December) at Cinema Nova, Carlton, ALFF is screening nearly 20 unique films: documentaries, short films, animations, and experimental films.
