The AASA is offering 4 Travel Scholarships for the AASA2017 Conference ‘Animal Intersections’, Adelaide, 2017. Details and online application form below. Applications are now closed for the Travel Scholarships.
AASA 2017 PG Student Travel Scholarships:
Applications are invited from currently enrolled Higher Degree by Research Students (PhD, M Phil, MA by Research) for travel scholarships to attend AASA’s biennial conference at the University of Adelaide, July 3-5, 2017. Information about the conference can be found at http://animalstudies.org.au/conferences.
The AASA will make the following amounts available to successful applicants:
* Up to $1000 + registration costs for 1 International HDR student
* Up to $500 + registration costs for 1 HDR student from Australian or New Zealand
To apply, please fill out the application below, including the names of 2 academic referees, and attach a written reference from one.
Applications will be assessed by the AASA Executive Committee and selection will be based on:
* the abstract for the proposed conference paper, and its relevance to the conference theme
* how attending the conference will meet the research needs of the Research Student

AASA 2017 Travel Scholarships:
To support early career academics and researchers in the field the AASA is offering two Travel Scholarships for independent researchers/casual academics who can demonstrate the relevance of attending this conference to their research. To be eligible applicants must be financial members of the AASA by the close of applications – Join us here.
The AASA will award up to two Travel Scholarships of $500 + registration fees.
